Architecture Detective Camp
Step into the world of architecture and uncover the stories hidden in historic buildings at Hay House in Macon. In this hands-on summer camp, rising 4th through 6th graders will explore how buildings are designed, learn to spot architectural details, and discover what makes Hay House so unique. Through interactive activities, sketching, and guided exploration, campers will become “architecture detectives” as they investigate one of Georgia’s most iconic homes.

One of Georgia’s most distinguished structures, the Johnston-Felton-Hay House in Macon was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974. The house itself contains more than 18,000 square feet in 24 principal rooms.
